The Data Business Analyst – Senior Consultant / Manager will have a minimum of five years’ experience working for a global distributed Asset / Wealth Manager to design, build, test and deploy a consolidated data platform or data warehouse, bringing together the data from the key business platforms to enable reporting requirements.
Successful candidates must demonstrate both business function and system knowledge to lead on workstreams and tasks.
Core role activities include
- Data Architecture / Model Design
- Requirements gathering, solution design, build, test
- Enterprise reporting / Trade and Transaction reporting
- Aladdin Data Integrations
- Data Integration from Aladdin into downstream systems / platforms
- Project Management
Skills and experience
Applicants must be able to demonstrate the following:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working for an Insurer and or Asset manager, or consultancy firm.
- Deep knowledge of SQL, data warehousing and asset management to review code.
- Test and identify issues and discrepancies between source and consolidated data repository.
- In depth knowledge and understanding of asset management data.
- Data design test and build.
- Excellent understanding of code being able to identify issues and discrepancies between source and data consolidated repository.

- Developed written skills to be able to successfully capture and replay ideas to a range of busines stakeholders, including Senior Management.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills to be able to engage with and build relationships with a range of business stakeholders.
- An approach of care and eye for detail to work, to show engagement with the role and ownership of responsibility for the quality of work.
- A desire to deliver within a high-performance culture, with a focus on delivering a first-rate service and to maintain a high level of reputation with clients.
- Ability to manage multiple work-streams at once, including ability to manage time successfully and to stay on top of multiple tasks at once.
- Technical knowledge and the ability to provide a conduit between technical and business minded individuals.
