Singapore brought together some of the region’s most senior investment operations leaders this August, and Strata was proud to be there as lead sponsor of InvestOps Asia 2026.
Held on 19 and 20 August, this was only the third edition of the event and our first time sponsoring in Asia, following previous InvestOps sponsorships in Europe and the US. Our aim was to meet firms across the region and talk about Aladdin® and eFront.
A high calibre audience in Singapore
More than 250 attendees joined across the two days. For a relatively new event, that is an impressive turnout, and it was the seniority of the audience that stood out. We spoke with leaders who own operating model, technology and data decisions at investment firms across Asia Pacific, which made for candid, well-informed conversations.
What we heard at Booth 6
James Colston, June Ho and Basil Doucas represented Strata at the event. Three themes came up often:
- Aladdin adoption in APAC. Firms at different stages of the journey, from considering the platform to getting more from an existing implementation, wanted to understand what works in practice.
- eFront and private markets. As allocations to private markets grow, so does interest in bringing public and private assets together in a whole-portfolio view.
- AI in investment operations. AI featured in many discussions. The picture is still forming, and what we heard suggests firms are exploring where it can add practical value.
Exceptional organisation and sponsor support
A special mention goes to the InvestOps Asia organisers. The event ran smoothly from start to finish, and the support given to sponsors before and during the two days was exceptional. That level of care gave our team more time for what matters most: conversations with attendees.
