Strata is the only dedicated Aladdin® & eFront consultancy in the world. We’re industry practitioners, not generalists: our practice spans Aladdin, eFront and the wider data ecosystem, and our team draws its expertise from involvement in the majority of major Aladdin implementations across EMEA over the last fifteen years. We bring end-to-end strategic advisory and hands-on delivery to Asset Managers, Asset Owners, Wealth Managers and Asset Servicers. We’re a small but global firm, which means the work you do here is visible, and the standards you set become the standards everyone works to.
The role
At Strata, a Delivery Lead is accountable for a project’s outcome: its scope, its client, its revenue and its margin. The Project Management Officer (PM Officer) is accountable for making sure the systems, data, controls and reporting exist for that accountability to be exercised with confidence. It’s a genuinely broad remit with a need for real experience. You’ll be the operational backbone across governance, resourcing, commercial control, reporting and systems, and the person who gives our Head of Delivery one accurate view of the whole portfolio.
A significant part of the role is our strategic PSA platform, Kantata. You will build it out properly: configuration, data integrity, adoption, so the numbers come from the system.
What you’ll own
- Delivery governance and assurance: every active project holds a current plan, budget, RAID log and stage-gate record, and you’ll test whether that governance is genuinely working, not just present on paper.
- Resource and capacity: the single source of truth for scheduling, staffing, bookings, roll-off and forward demand, spotting conflicts and skills gaps before they become delivery problems.
- Commercial and financial control: weekly variance packs, monthly revenue recognition, change control, and early warning of margin erosion, in-month rather than after the fact.
- Portfolio reporting: Client reporting pack creation and the internal KPI data the leadership team relies on: financial, resource, risk and delivery status, with trend and commentary, not just numbers.
- Systems and tooling: functional ownership of Kantata, plus identifying opportunities to automate reporting using Excel, Power BI and Microsoft tooling.
What you’ll bring
ESSENTIAL
- Experience of delivering within a PM Officer function within a Professional Services organisation.
- Experience of PSA software
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and sharp analytical, problem-solving instincts.
- Excellent written communication, and comfort presenting to senior stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and a genuine commitment to data quality.
DESIRABLE
- Experience of Kantata.
- Experience of project-based accounting.
- Power BI or equivalent dashboard development skills.
