- A Global Asset Manager (UK, US, APAC) requiring an Aladdin Accounting Implementation
The Ask
- To have one Global Accounting Platform ‘Closed Book’ Portfolio valuation.
- Aladdin Accounting provides Shadow Accounting, which met the clients’ requirements based on teh client Types e.g. Retail Funds, Segregated mandates etc.
- Ensuring Aladdin was the truth for all downstream consumers.
- Optimise the architecture while minimising data manipulation.
- Leverage Aladdin’s existing operational capabilities and not to duplicate processes.
What we did
The Result
- Running over approximately 6500 portfolios through the Aladdin Accounting workflow UK, US & APAC (portfolios increasing).
- We enhanced the workflow process in Aladdin Accounting, resulting in a more efficient and scalable model by categorising portfolios according to asset classes and deliverables.
- The Global scalability of the Aladdin Accounting process was enhanced through the Quality Control process resulting in streamlined workforce.
- The client currently utilises data from Aladdin Accounting for generating client reporting valuations, performance reporting, and other customised reports.
